Colorectal adenocarcinoma CaCo2

cell line / Homo sapiens / Colorectal adenocarcinoma

How to order?
Animal species:
Human, Homo sapiens.
Origin:
Colorectal adenocarcinoma
Age:
elderly person
Tissue:
large intestine
Morphology:
heterogeneous. Apparently, various cell types are present.
Histological diagnosis:
Colorectal adenocarcinoma
Carcinogenesis:
spontaneous
Tumoroids obtained:
yes
Subcutaneous growth:
yes
Molecular profile:
keratin. retinoic acid-binding protein 1. retinol-binding protein 2, heat-stable enterotoxin (Sta, E. coli) and epidermal growth factor (EGF), isoenzymes AK-1, ES-D, G6PD, GLO-I, Me-2, PGM1, PGM3.
Karyology:
The modal chromosome number of the stemline is 96, occurring in 16% of cases with polyploidy of 3.2%. Ten common markers were found, i.e. t(1q.?), 10q-, t(11q17q) and 7 others. T(1q17q) and M11 were found in some cells. Ins(2), 10q- and t(15q.?) were generally paired, while t (11q.17q) and t(21q.?) were mostly three-copy. Normal N9 was absent, and N21 was lost in some cells. One to 4 small acrocentric chromosomes were found. On Q-banding, no Y chromosome with a bright distal q-band was found.
Contamination control:
Mycoplasma contamination was eliminated in 1975.
Viral infection:
not performed
Species identity control:
karyological, isoenzyme (LDH and G6PD) and immunofluorescence analysis.
Application area:
oncology, screening, toxicology
Culture method:
in vitro partially adhesion/suspension, in vivo orthotopically or subcutaneously (see Appendix 1).
In vitro culture conditions:
medium – EMEM fetal bovine serum 20%. passaging procedure - cell detachment using trypsin 0.25 %: Versene 0.02 % (1:3), split ratio 1:3 -1:5 cryopreservation – growth medium 65%, 5% DMSO, 30% fetal bovine serum (see Appendix 1).
Physical state of the sample:
frozen.
